It has come to my attention that certain Google AdSense placements on PopmartWorld have displayed ads consisting solely of QR codes, some of which link to scam sites. One such instance was reported on Reddit, where a user documented a suspicious QR ad on a blog post (https://www.reddit.com/r/labubu/comments/1l445ge/scam_link_on_popmartworld_fan_site).
I rely on Google AdSense revenue to cover site expenses including bandwidth, domain registration, security measures, and design software. Unfortunately, I have no direct control over the specific ads that Google serves. Upon discovering the misleading QR code ad, I immediately added a prominent warning atop the affected post and within the ad block itself (see https://www.popmartworld.com/news/how-to-tell-your-labubu-is-fake) to make it clearer that YOU SHOULD NEVER SCAN ANY QR CODE that you cannot verify yourself.
I have also blocked and reported the offending ad to Google for violating their policy by presenting no context beyond a QR code. I share this PSA to express my apologies for any confusion or inconvenience caused and to reaffirm my commitment to improving site oversight. Your feedback, criticism, and comments are always welcome as I strive to serve this community responsibly.

DO NOT SCAN ANY QR ADS YOU SEE! These are scams, and I cannot control all the ads that appear on my site.
