Reports are growing on Reddit and other social platforms that POP MART blind-box shipments are being opened in transit, with some items stolen before they reach buyers. Customers say that couriers or warehouse staff may be tempted by the boxes’ distinctive POP MART branding, leading to theft or at least unwanted prying into packages.

In response, many customers are urging POP MART to switch from its signature printed boxes to plain brown packaging sealed with unmarked tape. They argue that unobtrusive parcels would reduce temptation for tampering and help ensure every mystery figure arrives intact.

Some fans have even suggested that POP MART include packing slips only inside the box, rather than on the exterior, so that delivery personnel have no clue about the contents. Others recommend a discreet returns address and simple branding that won’t draw attention during sorting or final-mile delivery.

While POP MART has yet to officially address the uproar, collectors are hopeful that a move to low-profile packaging will protect both the thrill of the blind-box experience and the investment value of their collections.
