Hong Kong Artist Yoyo Yeung is the creator of Yoki. From a young age, Yoyo Yeung was captivated by drawing and handcrafting. She pursued her passion in college, majoring in illustration. During her final year, she began creating original characters in her spare time, and after graduation, she introduced her signature character, YOKI, to the world.
Having completed her studies in London, Yoyo fondly recalls the daily bus rides through central London, often passing by the iconic Big Ben, which always made her feel small in its presence. She has also traveled to the Leaning Tower of Pisa and eagerly awaits her next adventure.
While many recognize her as a toy designer or artist, Yoyo prefers not to label herself. For her, the most important thing is to stay true to her heart and follow her passion.

Yoki was born in 2017 during Yoyo Yeung’s final year of college. The name means 'Yoyo's kid,' and to her, Yoki feels like her very own child. What began as a simple sketch of a small bat eventually evolved into the beloved character Yoki.
In Yoki's story, he was created from a tiny crystal drifting through outer space. Yoyo imagines him landing on Earth and embarking on adventures across the world, exploring cities like Beijing, London, and Paris—mirroring her own passion for travel.
Yoyo dreams of one day visiting the North Pole, and she channels that desire into Yoki’s ongoing journey.
